About
2MinNews exists because most news makes you feel worse, not better informed. Every story is summarized from multiple free sources. There are no ads, no sponsors, no paywalled content, and no tracking. If you read it and feel informed in 2 minutes, that's the whole point.
How stories are selected
Each morning, I review dozens of sources and pick the 10 stories that matter most. Summaries are written with AI assistance and manually edited for accuracy, specificity, and neutrality. No story is included because someone paid for it.
Sources
Stories are synthesized from free, non-paywalled outlets including Reuters, BBC, Associated Press, NPR, Al Jazeera, Deutsche Welle, France 24, and others. Every summary includes inline links to the original reporting.
Corrections
Errors happen. When they do, minor corrections are noted inline. Major errors get a visible correction at the top of the story and a note in the next day's newsletter edition. We never silently edit.
Privacy
We use privacy-respecting analytics. No cookies. No tracking across sites. No data sold. Ever. That's why you don't see a cookie consent banner here.
